Great location near the Lake District, The Western Dales, and Pennines with many hiking trails and a great pub (White Swan) in a beautiful little village. The room (including the bathroom) was large and very comfortable. It is definitely worth the short drive off the highway and i would stay there again if ever back in the area. -

Steve and Vicky are very hospitable owners and personaly very nice people. One can feel they put their hert into this their work. They helped us a lot long before our travel by answering our questions (best choice of the Lakes tour, walking paths, arrival to WIndermere etc.)

Ideally located between Bowness and Windermere. 10-15 minutes stroll either way. Steve and Vicky are the friendliest B n B people that we have met (stayed in over 12 other B n Bs). Invergarry is such a welcoming place. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed in a small double but this was a reasonable size for a couple of nights and didn't feel small. Breakfast was delicious - homemade muesli, jam and marmalade. Best breakfast that we have had in a B N B. Really lovely touches in the rooms -

Large clean bedroom. Excellent staff along with good food both at evening meal which we had booked on arrival and breakfast where nothing was too much trouble. - The staff where fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the hotel for two nights and will defenitly be going back

Warm and comfortable with everything we could want. Stayed in Silverdale which was large with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. Great choice for breakfast. - Friendly atmosphere created by the staff and excellent servicethroughout. Rooms are very spacious and have recently been decorated toa high standard.

The food was just wonderful; the room was beautifully appointed; the location was delightful with lovely views; the service was outstanding. All in all we had a delightful three days half board - we would have been fed up not to have booked in for dinner! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made the stay for us.

Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!

This is a very nice place to stay for sure. There are some very nice
touches such as the sherry in the room for guests. The bed was
exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The property
is within walking distance to an excellent pub in town. We were here for
2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The couple who own the property also
board rescue dogs...the dogs are very friendly too. As mentioned in
another recommendation, they allow dogs, but you would not know it. The

The room was quirky inasmuch that it was on two levels with a beautiful refurbished bathroom, a dressing table area and wardrobe, then up four stairs to the bedroom and sitting area. The Wateredge Inn is in a wonderful location right on the lake. The
views out to the boats bobbing on the lake were lovely. The room was
nicely decorated and comfortable as was the bathroom. The inns lounge
and dining areas were very nice, with again a beautiful outlook. The two
Scottish sisters who waited on us for breakfast were lovely and friendly
as was Ryan the bar man. The countryside around Ambleside was really
beautiful and well worth a longer visit.

Absolutey loved it here! The welcome from the owners was friendly and they came to greet us as soon as we pulled up in the car. We were offered tea and coffee and then shown around the b&b. Dean and Steph are warm and welcoming. They helped us in getting around the Lake District and even offered to give us lifts to some places. Breakfast is large and delicious. Rooms are clean. For us who were traveling only by bus there is a bus stop just next to the cottage. Keswick is just 20 min away by bus. Keswick is a lovely peaceful little town. I highly recommend a lake tour by the boat. From Keswick it is easily to visit all the lake by bus.
