... cosa dice la gente » tion in Grasmere. We had a lovely room (not large) but overlooking the river which was a bonus. Staff were very pleasant. Good breakfast with a lot of options but we didn't eat at the hotel for dinner as we considered it too expensive.

The staff were very friendly and attentive.The grounds are superb and if you want simply to relax and do nothing the public rooms are delightful places to spend time. - The staff and service were exceptional. Excellent. The Staff were helpful and pleasant at all times. The Hotel was spotlessly clean, our room light and airy. - Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and a lovely room with a fantastic view. No complaints!

The staff were exceptional in every manner. Each one we spoke to were very polite and accomodating, especially when booking out as we were leaving at 6am the next morning and they prepared a fantastic breakfast which was delivered 30mins before we departed at 5:30am. Everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both at the hotel and the Lake District itself. The location was lovely, the staff and food were excellent and our room was better than we imagined. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. Food in the restuarant was very nice, with a relaxed atmosphere. - I came to relax, and in our second choice room that was possible being able to see and hear the river, plus watch the wildlife
