  My husband and I have just returned from an Easter break at Moresby Hall. It was beautiful. Jane and David are so welcoming and encourage you treat the hall like your home. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We had our evening meal at the hall on the Saturday and it was georgous. Jane and David were so helpful, answering questions about the property and recommending places to visit. Our stay was lovely

  Excellent breakfast, fresh coffee and a range of breakfast choices. Fresh flowers on the tables and the breakfast room looked over a charming garden. Our bed was large and comfortable, the en suite had a brilliant shower with The White Company toiletries. Bowness on Windermere is delightful and has a good selection of restaurants a twenty minute walk from Storrs Gatehouse. Need to take a torch - We loved this b & B. This was the one of the best beds we slept in while on our trip around England. Vince is a great host with good recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Shirley is an awesome cook and these were the best breakfasts we had in England. The location is very good - a 15 minute walk from the town so that we could enjoy wine with dinner and not worry about driving and there are lots of good restaurants in Bowness-on-Windemere - just ask Vince!

  The staff were very friendly , welcoming and always ready to help. The location , set in woods and hills above Lake Windermere , is fantastic. As for the hotel , it had character and charm , with some very appealing features. The food was excellent. - Attention to detail and being made extremely welcome
