My family was very pleased to spend lovely time in your hotel. Bigthanks to the very helpful staff. They solved all the problemsimmediately. - Rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, food in the hotel alittle dear but what you got was very very good.

Reception girl was really nice, had professional approach to all my questions and tried to help me out whenever we needed..Room was really clean and free wifi was a good facility every one want to use and enjoy..,and free parking..free cancellation if u change ur plan also give u a peace of mind.. -

Always good to find somewhere that takes dogs, and the service road for the services is a nice quiet place to walk dogs too!- especially as there were good things to sniff- due to rabbits! (according to my dog!)

The manager Tony was fantastic. As a cycling group, several of us arrived late but they kept the kitchen open late to feed us which really was appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up well for our second day of cycling! Lovely place with friendly staff.

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but we had no problems at all. Before going i requested a newly refurbished room and it turned out to be a spacious twin, that was clean, comfortable and quiet. I do agree that the rooms are a little warm and the windows don't really open, but other than that we had a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful and polite in general and any requests etc were dealt with straight away. Breakfast is that of a budget hotel, but plenty on offer and all sel

A most charming inn set in a beautiful location overlooking Skiddaw. The staff were exceptionally friendly and as for the food - what can we say but 5 Star with emphasis on top quality local produce cooked with flair and presented with style. I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff were friendly, although the room was small (single) it was clean and comfortable. The meal was lovely alot of food on the platealong with a nice friendly atmosphere in the bar. - i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and its good value for the money. I recommond it very much.

A very warm, clean and well equipped room. We brought our 'well-behaved' spaniel who loved the guesthouse and our host.
The cooked breakfast was excellant.
We were warmly welcomed, well fed and very well look after during our stay. We loved it!
