  My sister and I arrived earlier than the designated check in time and were greeted by a lovely staff member (Chris). He assured us that he would clean our room first in order for us to check in early. He also helped to carry our bags to our room and refused a tip. He was extremely accommodating and friendly.   We had a warm welcome after a very stressful drive in snowy conditions. Our car ran off the road! We phoned ahead to explain we would be late. We eventually arrived after midnight and were welcomed. We felt we had arrived at a warm and safe haven. We had a long sleep in the next morning to recover from our ordeal. Oban is a very pretty town, especially in the - Very good price and excellent location close to the town centre. The house was lovely and warm- essential in the winter months. The room had everything you need and coffee as well. They were very friendly and gave us all the information we wanted in a helpful manner.

  We booked 3 rooms at the last minute and did not notice that the rooms were not en-suite. We were concerned as we had an 80 year old solo lady in our party but everything was fine. Nice clean guest house and very nice owners.   We did not eat at the hotel in the evening, therefore canot comment onthe dining menu.
