A very warm welcome when I arrived.
Home made Lemon cake was a delicious treat after an 8 hour journey.
Room was lovely and the bed was extremely big and comfortable with top quality bed linen.

Bank house is a beautiful period property and the owners have gone to great lengths to get the decor and furnishings just right. The food was outstanding, we class ourselves as 'foodies' and were certainly not disappointed, the menu was extensive and the fresh fruit salad on your table was a lovely addition. The owners are very friendly, helpful people who go to great lengths to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, from the homemade bread and cakes to being just lovely people. Would recom

This lovely little guest house is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the friendly and helpful staff to the quality of the furnishings and even the detail of the furnishings, right down to the location. It was exceptionally clean and well presented. My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly owners, they were more than willing to help and were lovely to chat to giving it a lovely personal feel to our stay.
The room was very luxurious, the bed especially was amazingly comfy!
There were walking route plans provided to help walkers and to give ideas to visitors as to which areas to visit.

Everything about the stay was delightful. From arriving with a warm welcome to recommendations for food that evening, Alex and Jeff were very helpful and polite in everything they did. One particular aspect that stands out in the breakfast, a stunning selection of everything you could ever wish for! Home made bread and scones with homemade jam, lovely! The room that me and my girlfriend stayed in was expected of somewhere of this calibre, very clean, very comfortable and a nice place to be. Ale

the location to the town centre is only A 5 minute walk. the nearest pub the royal caters for satellite tv showing all sports and serving good food. the crosby has been lovingly restored and is A credit to dawn and hubby. dawns breakfasts are great. both very friendly and I would recommend it to anyone. -

Loads of space in our apartment. The receptionist upgraded us to a larger room for free which was lovely and served our group much better. He also brought us a whole toy box for our daughter!

Angela and Steve are lovely people, the rooms spotless and the breakfast perfectly cooked with enough to keep hikers going all day. The location is perfect for peace and quiet but close enough to Penrith and the North lakes. -
