Cosa dice la gente
It was spotless clean. reception was very professional. Breakfast was served on a menu basis in a nice cosy lounge at the front of the house looking out on the road. Staff very courteous and discreet. No smell coming from the kitchen (unusual in B&Bs). Parking space for the car that they let us leave there for the whole afternoon after checking out. Location good to reach Oxford Brookes Uni. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Easy transportation to Oxford City by bus.
Good' information about comodities upon arrival. Very good service, as she made a rearrangement for other guests as we arrived one day too early. The other guest got two nights at the neighbour's guesthouse.
Breakfast was nice, and it was good to sit in the garden in the evenings.
We were given a lovely room at the back of the property. It has recently been decorated and is very comfortable with parking outside the door. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great. The bus to Oxfors is handily just around the corner with a regular service.
Richard, the gentleman who greeted us and who also took care of our
breakfast was the nicest staff member I have ever experienced. That is
saying a lot since my husband and I travel quite a bit. Excellent
breakfast by the way.
Suitably accommodating.
Walking distance of forest walk and athletic track. Bus stop nearby. Bustling city centre, yummiest chocolate dessert ever in the St Aldate Inn.
Very friendly, knoledgible and helpful staff. An ideal venue with frequent buses to the city centre.comfortable bed and wonderful breakfast.
Nice clean and comfortable room.
To have the use of a microwave and fridge in the room was a blessing.
Perfect location for us .
We liked the cleanliness and the warmth of the B and B. The welcome was genuine and the breakfast was more than adequate.
Great value for money and a very handy location. i will definitely make a return visit when I visit Oxford again.
One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!
Very friendly and helpful staff/owners.
Lovely breakfast.
- Clean
- Not far from busstop (20 min to Oxford)
- Everthing you need is there
- wide variety at breakfast.
Very close to the city centre and main hospitals. Good breakfast and very clean too.
We were welcomed at the door, nice touch. The host was friendly and accommodating.
Very welcoming, great accommodation, comfortable, clean, everything catered for.
Friendly, cosmopolitan, good location for Oxford hospitals. Good breakfast.
Clean, Family run.
Easy parking, easy access to ring road.
Good breakfast.
Very friendly proprietor. Hot breakfast was excellent and ample.
Comfortable bed and a nice welcome. Good breakfast.
Friendly staff when I saw one. Rooms clean and tidy. Car parking was sufficient as I had no problems. The two pubs I visited were good. The Royal Standard especially so with excellent meals and beer garden / smoking area was excellent.
Room was comfortable, breakfast quite good, staff friendly and helpful, was value for money, bus transport was close for access to city centre.
The room was at the back of the facility so it was quiet.
The room is in good size and clean.
Nothing in particular .
- food
-rooms
-beds.
quiet location.
it was a clean hotel with ok breakfast and good location.
It had parking.
Large room, extra beds available within the room. Good for a couple with
two young children. Parking at the hotel was availabe but very cramped.
Cooking facilities available.
Nothing at all.
One thing only. They would not call us a cab but they handled us a taxy card instead. Reason we asked was that somehow we could nor get through on our foreign mobile phones.
Breakfast too early. From 7 till 8.15. When on holiday it isn't very popular to get up this early to get some food :).
We had to wait ten minutes for a table at breakfast but the staff were apologetic. Check out time is 10am which I feel is a little early for a weekend checkout. Be warned if you pay by card you are charged fee of around 5%.
The bed was a bit small and hard for the two of us. However, we were
only there for one night, so it is probably something we could have
gotten used to.
Having to open numerous sachets of sugar for my cereal!.
I have nothing to say. I cannot fault them in any way.
Our room at the front of the house was quite noisy because of busy traffic.
Situated on a noisey road.
- Wifi bit on/off (she told us on arrival)
- mo/fr breakfast only untill 0815
- sa/su breakfast only untill 0900.
Nothing.
Lighting could be much better.
Charged 3% for the use of a debit card.
Room was basic, but very reasonably priced.
Car park was full, but there was nearby on street parking.
Breakfast at 7.00-8.30am on a Sunday is too early.
Noisy road. Must get a rear room if I stay again.
The double glazing had blown so although a window could not see out. Sounds of other rooms showers could be heard and woke me up earlier than I wished. No smoking area so guests including myself were outside in wind and rain to have a cigarette. There are still millions of people who do smoke and I don't think they should have to endure pneumonia just to indulge in their normal leisure activities.
Did not think it was 4 star, waited for staff to arrive before we could enter to register, the rooms were noisy, wifi unreliable in some areas.
The owner was not very helpful. She seemed put out by our general
questions regarding the area. She had a sign posted that said to ring
the bell for any assistance between the hours of 4-9 pm. But when I did
this she appeared very irritated.
The only thing is - the bathing area is too small.
Room was too small, the shower was way too small and the breakfast was ordinary.
- customer service.
slow shower
no welcome pack saying where to go for food/drink.
It is old.
Wifi doesn't work.
Poor breakfast.
not at all a 4 stars hotel. old furniture, old bathroom utilities. the worst however i found the room phonic isolation. you could hear everything from the neighbor toilet flush or sneeze to cleaning lady and other people on the corridor. very bad for working or resting in the room. ill never go back there.
The bed was broken and uncomfortable. It was very out-dated in style and decoration. The breakfast staff were brusk and unfriendly. There were moths and flies on the ceiling. The bedding was very old judging by the yellowy colour.
They will turn off the wifi at 11:00PM
the key they gave to me can' t not open the front door!.
Heating was not working but was given a portable radiator, no hot
shower! 40 minutes walk from Oxford town centre.
Parking is very expensive in Oxford, so best to go to park & ride (Park for free and pay £2pp to get to town) this could've been mentioned by the hotel staff!.
Everything is terribly bad. In addition, the old man is so mean.
