Cosa dice la gente
Breakfast was awesome. Tea was also offered. The location was better than I expected. A short bus ride on the #3 and I was on High Street district in Oxford. Vicky could not have been more helpful or welcoming. I felt safe and very much like I was at home. From a customer service perspective definitely a 10/10!.
The owner of The Terrace was lovely, very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area.
I booked into the single room, which was really nice and enjoyed a lovely view over the pretty rear garden.
Breakfast was served in the garden which was a really nice touch. Felt like I was on holiday! :-). tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Very nicely put together, amazing breakfast (I recommend setting aside an hour for it, and not eating much the night before!) I was sorry I was at a meeting rather than spending much time at the B&B, but my husband enjoyed it and also talking to the hostess. Also the wifi was excellent.
Excellent breakfast, large, variety of fresh fruit, good quality bacon,
sausage and egg. Homemade marmalade and strawberry jam. We were made
very welcome by the owner. Bonus - being able to park on the street
outside and walk into the city centre.
Friendly atmosphere and made to feel at home.
Handy position for getting to Churchill hospital & bus to town every 7 minutes.
No complaints from Vicky at my extending 1 day at a time due to uncertainty of my wife's stay in hospital.
Vicky is a very friendly and helpful woman. She showed us the plan of Oxford and recommended eateries and objects of interest. In the morning she offered us a very (!) great breakfast. The location is very nice and aethetically.
Charming and friendly host -felt like I was staying with a long lost friend . Breakfast was sumptuous and was served out in the most picturesque little garden brimming with flowers. Handy to Oxford and well priced.
I really recommend The Terrace! A house with nice rooms and a lovely English garden. The english breakfast is amazing! The hostel is very nice and helpful! I will go back some day. :-).
Fabulous breakfast - fresh fruit, different breads, good quality sausage and bacon, coddled eggs, etc etc!
Proprietor very friendly and thoughtful - nice little touches in room!.
Very friendly and caring landlady. The breakfast is large and very good. Unfortunately, it was too cold to have breakfast in the gorgeous garden.
I had a fantastic stay in this lovely bed&breakfast. The rooms and house is beautiful and the owner is extremely helpful.
Friendly, chatty landlady. Very clean...good breakfast. Good position with an excellent walk to town by the river.
very nice house, with a friendly host, delicious breakfast. If possible, I will come back!!.
Friendly service, convenient location, excellent breakfast! Highyl recommended.
Cosy, comfortable and extremely friendly. Good breakfast with local produce.
Service is good . Like hotel'style a lot!.
Easy access to bus and the river Thames , excellent breakfast , nice rear garden
, owner nice and friendly.
Breakfast was absolutely lovely and before I came downstairs had only intended to have cereal or toast, but the host had cooked and prepared all sorts of lovely fruits, breads and fried food, which I felt compelled to eat! It would be nice to have the option of what to have rather than have it assumed for me. Also, I'd have preferred it be grilled rather than fried.
It's a bit inconvenient if you don't have a bike or car, esp. if you are visiting colleges on the North side of Oxford. The scale of the house is very tiny by contemporary American standards which was fine for us as slightly overweight 5'9" people, but might be a problem for much larger people.
No complaints.
Single room is quite small, not enough space for a chair, though plenty of cushions make bed very comfortable to sit on.
Doors stick, so can be a bit noisy.
Maybe Tea/coffee making facilities in the room?.
Overpriced and limited parking , dragging luggage up steep and narrow stairs , sharing bathroom/toilet , price needs to be reduced to around 55 pounds per night.
