Our room was very clean and whilst not too large it suited us well enough. Lovely bathroom and shower. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast: yoghurt, fresh fruit, preserves, cereals, toast and cooked. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly return. -

The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met at a B&B. You get a full English Breakfast that is very good as well as fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt. There is a park across the road for kids to play and the beach is very close. I would take a car or bus to the beach when traveling with small children as the hill is very steep. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Amazing people and very patient with our young children.

Everything was wonderful. We had 2 rooms on top floor for ourselves and our 2 daughters. Most comfortable beds we stayed in all vacation and lovely, clean well appointed rooms . Very clean comfortable rooms with a seaside boutique feel. friendly and helpful staff. Warm, homely atmosphere where even a lone traveller will feel included. Bar and restaurant (excellent menu) are stylish, seaside/rustic with a genuine 'local' feeling without the usual awkwardness of feeling you are intruding on the local's space! The hotel is directly in the area of the small shopping lanes and the harbour beach with excellent dining options around. Would suit a stay at any time of year

We liked how close it was to the station and that it was only a short walk down the hill to everything in the town. The manager William was very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, and he made us bacon sandwiches to take with us because we were leaving and didn't have time for a full breakfast was great!! OMG the best experience in our European trip. We were welcomed by the manager, he insisted on taking our bags to the room, he offered us hints on our walk into town, wished us goodnight, cooked our breakfast and the ONLY one to wish us safe travels.
