This must be the comfiest B&B I stayed ever. I don't remember
any uk hotel, let alone B&B, having such a diversity and quality of
food for breakfast. (Salmon with poached eggs, omelette with choice of
filling... Even cranberry juice!) The bathroom with all-new fittings and

We liked everything! We booked largely on the basis of reviews we'd
read, and our experience bears out the numerous positive comments
we'd seen. Very comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean,
very good breakfast, owners welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to
go into city centre, but the bus service looks good. We tried one of the
pubs recommended by the owners (about 25 min walk) and had a very
enojoyable dinner.

Apartment was perfect for our 3 day trip to Cambridge, offering a home from home. Self catering suited us and was a much cheaper option than eating out every night. Everything. Quality of bedroom furnishings. Lovely soft towels and
flannels. Fantastic breakfast -best I've ever had away from home.
Hot toast, because each table had its own toaster! Welcome from the
lovely hosts. They had thought of every detail to make our stay as
pleasant as possible, even down to a bottle of water on each beside

The proprietor, Anna, is a most interesting and friendly person. She combines efficiency with charm and informality. The themed "African Room" was a delight, as was the generous and sumptuous breakfast. Location is excellent; quiet but not far from shops, pubs and so on. -
