On arrival we were warmly greeted & asked if we needed any information regarding our stay. We were soon given a map with directions to local restaurants etc. The accomodation was very comfortable, immaculate & the shower was perfect. Our cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely! Brilliant stay in every way, great location near the Cam river and colleges, free wifi and even on site parking. We stayed in the small double room which was quiet and pleasantly sunlit and breakfast was 4star. The host does everything with soft spoken class that is a rarity to find today. Highly recommended.

The Landlady was very friendly and nothing was any trouble. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, I have stayed in many hotels in my life and appreciate cleanliness. The accommodation was within easy access to the city centre with a good bus service.

The owner, Chris, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with whatever I needed, e.g. fixing immediately a window a bit hard to close, doing whatever he could to prepare an espresso (he did not have any in the house that morning so he went to get some from his own house). Room very clean, fantastic power shower, lovely breakfast. -

We hope to exprience the other rooms next time. My six years old daughter likes the hotel best during the 12 days' travel in UK.

Anita was a great host. The breakfasts are very good, the best I had on
my whole stay in Britain. The wifi/internet connection is excellent.
It's a little far from down town but Cambridge is not a big city so that means a 20 mins walk gets you there. -
A warm, friendly welcome on arrival.
A regular bus service, offering a short ride into city.

Anstey Hall is fabulous!
I would describe it as "Boho Chic....The Building is wonderful and the decor fun and stylish. I stayed in room 6, wonderful comfortable bed, pillows and linen, beautiful wetroom.

We booked the hotel as a stopover for the duxford air display. We found the hotel to be in a stunning old mansion house which was lovingly restored and maintained by its present owner. The rooms were excellent with a really good size ensuite bathroom. The grounds were large and it was really great to be able to enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda. It was a great stay and I would happily recommend it to family, friends and complete strangers.

I booked because it was a good price and convenient location, and ended up feeling like I'd had a mini-holiday. Very professionally run with attention to every detail. I shared a bathroom, but it was literally spotless and beautifully done up.
