Convenient for us as we needed to be on the north side of Bristol,
however as it's on a main road, it was quite noisy in the evening
and morning. During the night it was ok. Room was clean and well
equipped, and the owner was very nice. She even helped us out with
storage for a couple of days when a friend left something behind!

Fantastic breakfast, very friendly and attentive host. Spotless bedroom with en-suite facilities. A very pleasant stay and would highly recommend to others.

This hotel is a real find and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in
Bristol. The location is excellent and the hotel has a real buzz. We
particularly enjoy the bar area which is great for morning coffee,
afternoon tea or a drink before dinner. Food is always a highlight
of our stay. -

The Welly is a great place to stay. We've been here twice. Staff are friendly, rooms tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable and there's amazing coffee in the rooms. Despite being over a pub it's actually quite quiet. -

Mike and Pauline are amazing and kindest people. Take a great pride in theirs little hotel. Grey House is adjacent to a Hungry Horse Public House called the
Travellers Rest, which is great for good food at reasonable prices. The
room I had was clean and tidy and everything worked properly, ie the
Kettle, Television, Central Heating etc. Breakfast in the morning was
absolutely fantastic and was ready in no time at all. Mike the
proprietor, cooked breakfast himself. All staff were very friendly and
treated all guests respectfully. A great Guest House where I would
definately stay again

We selected Brooks on the basis of their location in the heart of Bristol and value for money.
Staff were unfailingly professional and friendly, prepared to go the extra yard in service.
The décor is clean and sharp, relatively minimalist but still comfortable.
Bedroom was small which suited a short stay but may prove too petite for a longer stay

My wife was taken suddenly ill during the stay and was admitted to hospital. The sympathy, support and general kindness of the staff at the Guesthouse was quite amazing, making our situation so much easier and we shall always feel grateful for this. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable, the whole place was clean and well kept and the food was excellent. The welcome which we had even before our problems began was second to none and I would certainly stay there again.

Very friendly welcome by Ashley/David - arrangements for access were excellent. Location/access to Bristol City Centre and also to water boat taxi very good.
SS Great Britain - just a few minutes away from Harbourside Apartment.
Free Museum of great interest at M Shed - just walking distance of apartment.

Very spacious 1 bedroomed apartment - more than met our needs.
Very compact kitchen equipment if needed. -
Good location very close to ss Brittannia exhibition. Very close to
riverside attractions. All in walking distance. Room was spotless and
to a good 4* standard suite. We had a small problem that was
immediately resolved by the management without any fuss or bother - a
definite plus point!

I booked this apartment as my daughter had a heart operation at Bristol Children's hospital which was in walking distance. The apartment was spotless and offered some comfort for me to escape from the hospital for an hour or so. The staff were very helpful when we requested an extra bed and also extended our stay by 2 days. The apartment had everything we require for a family of 4, comfortable beds, good showers, lovely toiletries, washing machine, iron, leather couches. It was very secure and Tesco's was literally around the corner. The bus station is very close by and Cabot Circus mall is in walking distance.

The room was fantastic - we may have been the first to stay in it, it certainly felt like that. High quality finish, very comfortable and luxurious. Especially the blackout (light and sound) curtains - we didn't stir until 11.30 Sunday morning! I recommend a wake up call so that you don't miss breakfast! Breakfast was wonderful (on Saturday!),

Lovely room, very modern.
