The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the owner who makes you feel as if you were staying with a friend. I had an ensuite shower in my room which was tucked in quite well, making the most of the space but the bathroom for rooms without facilities was nearby and looked very nice. The décor is done in 'Beach' style which is very pleasant.

Top place, extremely nice lady owner, highly recommended. Very very
large room (I had a double with my daughter), nicely furnished, Bathroom
was in the hallway, but privat, a little bit awkward, I would have
preferred en suite, there was a sink in the room, though. WiFi worked.
Enough parking space along the streets. Very quiet residential area, bus
stop 3 min away, 5-10 min walk to Boscombe Pier (beach), just perfect. I
would definitely book again.

Friendly, family run hotel that accomodates everyone from young to old! We stayed with our 2 year old son, and nothing was too much trouble. It felt more like staying in someones home than in a hotel. - friendly, family like athmosphere. great breakfast and very comfortable bed.

The owners are amazing people. Although I had a reservation for a single room, I stayed in a double one. I needed a plug adapter and I was immediately offered one, while some other colleagues I was with in Bournemouth for a conference and who were accommodated in fancier hotels had to go downtown and buy one. Extremely good value!

I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk
anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10
mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. So you can easly get the
essencial bits and bobs that u have forgoten to take for your holiday,
or pop in to subway for a quick sub. Thats all about location from me

Every thing. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily.
Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again.

The service from all staff was prompt efficient and friendly. When a problem arose in the allocated room another room was immediately offered. Although the purpose of the visit to the area was to attend a family funeral the extra days that we stayed were very relaxing and enjoyable at the hotel. absoulutley loved the hotel. we came here for our 2 year anniversary it was perfect. the hotel is well presented and modern. we had the balcony and sea view which was fab.definatley coming back. the pool in the other hotel was lovley and warm.were the only 2 people in there also the sauna was fun. would definatley recoment this hotel to anybody the

Myroom had a double bed with a side sea view which I liked very much. Itwas quiet and relaxing (ie no long children or noisy families) and thebreakfast was very good - a more than adequate variety (fresh, goodquality). The staff were nice, helpful and yet unobtrusive.
