The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Very stylish new hotel in a nice district of Istanbul. We stayed for 5
days in the beginning of May, 3 days were hot, and 2 windy and rainy,
and it was equally comfortable in the room. We stayed in a standard
room: it is not big, but enough space for 2 people with a big suitcase.

Very good location: on the tram line that goes to the historical center
and not far from the funicular (the transportation mean) that goes to
Taksim comercial area. Next to the Bosphorus touristic port and
ferryboat that crosses to the Asian side. Friendly and dedicated staff.
Good breakfast. Good restaurant (for having also the other meals of the
day). Clean and properly maintained.

Location is ideal, only about 200m away from Tophane tram station. Staffs were always at their service 24hr, and would do far beyond for your comfort.
The apartment is new, so brightness & cleanliness is guaranteed.

Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room. Everything! it was not a single issue that the simpathic guys on the reception didn't solve it! They said on all our request 'YES'. The rooms were clean, the breakfest untill 11, the location is very good and easy to reach with a fast & direct tram that cost 1,5 euro, to all important sights! I have been in Istanbul many times and i can easily compare with other places, so...definitely i will recomande this one! and...the price = best deal! :)

We have stayed at Pera Capitol for 8 nights. The location of the hotel is great, only one minute from Istiklal Street, and three minutes from the Tunel, Nostalgic Tram stop and Sishane Metro Station. staff were very helpful, kind and prompt. Breakfast was good enough and the rooms were quite clean. It was exactly what we have looked for.
