The design of the rooms were modern, clean and bright and exactly as advertised..... the reception staff were extremely friendly, helpful and available at all times. We stayed here because of its proximity to the Izmir airport -- and it did turn out to be very easy to drive to the airport from here. I was a little concerned because the Lonely Planet guidebook had warned against this neighborhood, but it was totally fine (we walked around) and the hotel was perfect -- modern, minimalist, obviously meant for businesspeople, but very welcoming to my family. İbis İzmir has a great location just in front of grand station. I went to İzmir for a concert and I stayed there just one night. Concert hall was in walking distance. İzmir İnternational Airport is easy to reach from hotel ıt takes just half an hour by train. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Children were free of charge.

The staff was very friendly and ready to help in e dry way. I was looking for local vegetarian food, they recommended a place drove me there and pick me up after dinner. The rooms were very quiet for a hotel next to the airport. I am a light sleeper and I sleep well, there were no noise form airport.

We had booked a suite room because we have 2 small children, but it was unavailable. The staff was helpful in giving us two rooms next to each other for the same price. The staff was helpful in calling us a taxi for a dinner out, and providing the early shuttle service to the airport. I was also amazed that the breakfast was put out so early. Our children were able to grab a sandwich before our 5 am departure to the airport.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in relation to value for money. The location is perfect near the train station, coach stop and a short distance (around 10 minutes) to the main area near the sea.

nice, clean hotel and very nice staff )) - It was quiet, clean and had an in-room bathroom/shower. The air conditioner worked well, and since the hotel is on a side street, it kept out the noise. Breakfast was simple and ample. The staff were extremely helpful and nice.
