My wife & I stayed at the Palmen some years ago when it was owned by Arif who became a friend over many years of holidaying in Alanya -
The apartment was fit for purpose, nothing spectacular and small. Staff were helpful.

Nice location, close to the famous Kleopatra beach, to the main street. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets around. At the same time it's very calm and quiet place. Apartments were big and clean with new furniture. I was surprised with big size of balcony and the view from it (the sea and Alanya castle on the top of the hill)

Room was clean and big enough for us. Cleaning lady came every day but not too early in the morning to wake you up. And even though the big route was next the hotel it didn't disturbed our sleep.
Pool are is'nt huge but not too small to spend time there. Pool area was also clean. There was some music but not too loud played. One day i ate at the

Posizione perfetta a 15 min a piedi da Cleopatra beach e a 200 mt dalla stazione dei bus che ti portano ovunque. Praticamente in centro e comodo anche la sera. La piccola cucina è davvero utile e puoi organizzarti e risparmiare. Staff disponibilissimo. -

Good central location within easy walk of some lovely restaurants, bus terminal for day trips and both main beaches. Lovely little splash pool on the roof. Obviously, not a luxury hotel, but it was great value and 'did exactly what it said on the tin!' Would happily stay here again. -
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, very comfortable and cozy, nice views. The staff are friendly and helpful. It takes about 20 mins to get to the beaches but we specifically planned not to live near the sea so it was ok for us. A market and plenty of small grocery shops are nearby; with a small kitchen with an electric stove and all utensils it saved us a good deal of money on meals :)
