Lovely location right next to the Catheral in the old town. Hotel was a typical parador - a beautiful old building lovely turned into a hotel. We ate in the restaurant and it was excellent - I highly recommend the foie gras and the duck! -

Perfect location, very close to the old town and within walking distance of the University of La Rioha. Clean rooms and the stuff is very friendly and helpful, although not all of them speak English. Good value for the money. -

Brinas is a very pretty historic village in Rioja and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel, decorated with murals and antique funiture, to anyone looking for somewhere unique to stay. (once a Palace the property was used as Headquarter of the Italian Troops during the Spanish Civil War.) The staff are very helpful (coming out to our car with an umbella as we arrived during an unbelievable summer storm!!) This was our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed.
