  we only had an overnight stay with little time to explore.room was very good and place is situated in a vcery pleasant area - The room was lovely and homely. Hosts were very friendly and endearing. We had a wonderful and truly relaxing weekend.

  Hotel and staff were great! Room decor was just lovely! Hotel easy to find. Would recommend for a stop over. - Spending time with my future wife in a very comfortable place. I can't say much more as I spent most of my time inside the room.

The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the food, especially the dinner and the homemade bread served at both dinner and breakfast, was absolutely delicious!   The whole place was lovely. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by a very lovely lady called Elizabeth. She was fantastic explaining the facilities, taking us for a full tour of the lodge. We were running so late from our previous destination. We received calls every 2 hours asking if we were fine and not lost. The kitchen stayed open for us until we arrived and we only arrived at 10:30pm. We have never been treated so well by any lodge ever. Outstanding and well received.
