We loved the tranquility and the setting. It was a most relaxing time. Maryliese was fantastic she did all she could to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved her and thought she did so well under loads of pressure. She deserves a medal or a R2000 raise in pay.

My boyfriend and I spent two night here and found it to be easily accessible to all areas of interest as well as the downtown area. Staff was friendly and host was informative and friendly. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel as though we were at home. The room was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and extremely comfortable. A lovely and very tasty breakfast was served in a basket right to our room. Wish we could come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and all the awesome outdoor space. One of the best stays on our whole journey. Highly recommended!!

We even had a braai (barbecue) sitting in the fireplace. The hosts did everything to make our stay perfect (including braai lessons). The whole decoration is self made with love for detail. To us it was the perfect stay for touring into the Swartberg Mountains and at the same time for driving in less than 10 min into the center for having dinner.

Best location for ge - Rooms are cosy, decently equipped and meet four star standard. The family running the guest house gave us a warm welcome and provides you with information about the region. Very quite and calm atmosphere, that should make this place especially enjoyable for families. The guest house is located in Schoemanshoek, which is a little, cute, dutch influenced village.
