  We loved the attention to detail. The management and staff (and the owner) were outstanding hosts. The accommodation was just superlative and the service was fantastic. The location was relaxed ,beautiful scenery and just perfect to unwind.   We were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who proceeded to give us a comprehensive tour of the guesthouse. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the food, especially the dinner and the homemade bread served at both dinner and breakfast, was absolutely delicious!   Unfortunately we only stayed one night. It is great value for money. The location is perfect, the staff is brilliant and our room was beautifull. The lodge is perfectly placed -just 5 minutes drive from the south gate. If you're going to Addo this place is ideal and the hosts Isabelle and Christoff are most obliging - Isabelle and Christophe were the most brilliant hosts and ran the hotel in a lovely relaxed manner. The room was wonderful and the outdoor shower enchanting. It was a brilliant place to stay for the Addo Elephant Park just 10 minutes drive from the gates. I would definitely stay there again. The food was very good, the room clean and very comfortable.

  Our last knight was spent at Algoa Guest House. The reception was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area was small but charming the breakfast excellent.
