  The Yellowwood Lodge has beautiful gardens and nicely decorated rooms. It is in a quiet location and is a short walk to Knysna and Thesen Island. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All in all, everything was perfect! - Exceptionally kind and helpful owner/staff. Impressive authentic old English house.   Great place to stay with fantastic views of the lagoon and area. The owners are great and full of knowledge of the area and suggestions for things to do. If you want a quiet place to relax above the town then this place is perfect. Also, if you want to play golf they can help you out with some great deals as well.

  We were delighted with our room at Knysna Country House, and agreed that it was our favourite Guest House during our two week trip to SA. The room we has was superb (though air con would have been even better!), and the owners had thought of everything.
