  We had a fantastic stay at the Residence. After a rough 12-day-trip through Botswana, we were delighted with the overwhelming luxurous feeling of this hotel. The staff is very friendly, their personal touch and attention for meticulous details makes it one of the best hotels we've stayed in.   Very nice lodge close enough to Jo'burg city center and around the corner from Sandton's Mandela Square (mall, restaurants). The kind owners and friendly staff helped us organizing all sorts of interesting day-trips in and around Johannesburg. Whenever i had a problem, they would ALWAYS help. And the best part about the hotel was that the pictures on the site were exactly what was on the ground.
