This place is amazing, what a home!! Our room was perfect, I think I was called the beach suite? The proprietors are the sweetest couple and are so much fun to chat with. The pool deck is amazing and the views second to none. Breakfast was delicious, a real treat and a feast!! Book with 100 percent confidence, we will be coming back!!!! :) -

Beautiful Guest house, lovely staff, amazing views, although it's not cheap it is very good value as you are given lots of fabulous little extras and the welcome high tea is delicious. Very highly recommended.

The Underberg guesthouse is situated very centrally so it was very convenient and close to some top restaurants. This enabled us to save on our hire car expenses. It truly is a beautiful place and I would definitely stay there again. Also, the actual place is true to the picture on the internet if not even more beautiful in life.

Justin, our host and co -owner is amazing. He does most of he work himself and he is so helpful in planning and booking trips and he is very good at recommending some amazing spots to eat. He will go the extra mile to accommodate his visitors and will do anything and everything to ensure that they are happy and looked after. The house itself is beautiful, light, clean and modern. The beds are so comfy and the views breathtaking. I will never stay anywhere else in Franschoek again! -

sophisticated and friendly. Wonderful location. beautiful room and setting. delicious breakfasts. excellent value - The quiet surrounding garden, the rooms were all different and unique, you could come and go with no hassle, and the breakfast was superb.
