  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for 3 nights. The stunning view from our windows and balcony were spectacular and encompassed Table Mountain behind and the bay in front. The suite was comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which was very useful for wine/water. The honesty bar was a very good idea, a - The whole experience from the welcome at the gate followed by a cold beer and suggestions for eating and excursions to the checkout arrangements that included the opportunity to shower and change before heading off to the airport was great. All these little touches made for a very relaxing stay at the end of almost a month toruing South Africa. We stayed in the Pool Room with its own outside sitting area. Everything in the room was comortable with a big bed and hot and powerful shower. Breakf

  From the minute we arrived the service was impecable our car was parked no fuss, we were early for the book in but were offered a complimentary beverage whilst waiting and the pleasant surprise we were upgraded to a larger famiy room with the best mountain view ever the convenience of being connected to the shopping mall is also a plus the room ... cosa dice la gente » service was quick and the staff friendly the room amenities were great and the reataurants were out of this world....then breakfast came the buffet se - We were overnighting prior to a long flight the next day to Dubai/Kabul. This could not have been a nicer stay. Car parked, check in seamless, room very nice. Our view was an ocean view which was great. The convenience to the waterfront activities and shopping was excellent. Late night coffee and cake in front of the fireplace was superb. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best we have had, just fabulous. Staff were all on their game, excellent service.

  Honestly say this is one of the best if not the best hotel I haver stayed in. Staff amazing, cinema for the kids, lazy leopard bar for great cocktails food and views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and rooms to die for. Just amazing - Staff very friendly and efficient. Very good wine tasting with food pairing in restaurant.

It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The swimming pool must have the best veiw in town being on the 19th floor! The rooms and service is very good.   Very friendly owner who cooks a lovely breakfast (included in the price). Very comfortable, large double bed. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.
