The Albatross was easy to find, just a short drive to the shops and restaurants.The house is old , and showing its age , but full of character. The bedroom and ensuite we used was small, but adequate for a one night stop. Tea and coffee facilities were in the lounge, breakfast was served in the dining room,where we met and talked with other guests

The beautiful ceilings, the welcome, the friendly host, the ambience,
the location close tothe stadium, and the ngith time entertainment
(students partying - I hope they eventually found Georgia who was lost
at 4am). Overall lovely stay for the rugby league. Go the Mighty
Warriors. Great internet access and a cosy place to have breakfast with
fellow customers.

It was a Victorian house, close to the centre of Dunedin, quiet, warm and comfortable, with helpful and friendly staff, yet it must be one of the places to stay in Dunedin. I booked in with some misgivings that the place would be cheap and nasty, but it was the best motel I have ever stayed in anywhere. I gave it 9's on the motel's on the motel'

The location was fantastic. Just 10 min away from center city of octagon. Host was friendly and nice. Bedroom was decorated in sweet blue country style. Sheets and bath towels were clean. Bathroom was clean and neat.
Feels like a home totally.
Kitchen area was filled with hot drinks for us and wifi was easily accessible and free.
It is one of the best b&b ever.
Highly recommended.

The house is an elegant Victorian. Bedrooms are spacious and lovely, and good bathrooms and shower. Hosts are super-friendly and helpful--Sandy even washed our clothes for us, and there was a luxurious hot tub. Food was fabulous! One of our best hotel stays! -

It was the best choice we could make during a month trip across nz.
Location above the city (just 10min drive down the slope), lush green,
beautifully designed garden, a quiet room, comfortable bed, baby cot

Grandview resonates with the history of the building with furnishing chosen to reflect this history yet accommodating modern comfort. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We would chose to stay there on another visit to Dunedin especially as the option of self catering would be appealing for a longer stay. It is extremely good value for money.

The house itself is charming with lots of personal touches. It's on the outside of Dunedin so a car is needed. Breakfasts were great and guests are made to feel home from home.
