We stayed for just the one night but it was absolutely perfect! Studio room, with a deck overlooking Picton Harbour. Upmarket room yet reasonable price
Very clean and comfortable (loved the double recliner chairs) with great views of Marina and seascape

Of the Motels in which we stayed in our 6 weeks in NZ this is probably the best. Clean, modern, well equipped, central & easy parking. Convenient access to inter-island ferry, walking, shops, boating, golf etc. Picton is an attractive area as well! Worth more time than just waiting for the ferry.

Absolutely excellent in every way. All facilities to a very high standard and the whole motel was attractively decorated. It was lovely sitting on the balcony looking over the peaceful High Street and so convenient for the ferry too.
The excellent, hot and reasonably priced all-you-could-eat breakfast was a bonus.
Our stay was perfect and were made so very welcome by the Manager.

We stayed for 1 night as we were catching the ferry the following day but would have loved to stay longer. Comfortable room in character property, friendly and helpful proprietor, excellent self service breakfast, all within easy walking distance of the town centre. -

I stayed here with my 5 year old daughter during the Seddon quakes, Was very happy with my stay. The staff were great, we were checked up on after a big shake by the manager and assured us the building was very safe!! Lovely people, walking distance to all shops, cafes and waterfront. We like the friendly welcome to the apartment.
The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and bright.
We appreciated the additional facilities of DVD player with free films to view and also some CD s to listen to.
We also enjoyed a good sleep, the bed was large and very comfortable.
Lastly excellent location, so near to the habour and the facilities of the town. Thank you.

We had two units for four 75 to 85 year old tourists. Absolute waterfront location, unit has plenty of space, modern equipment and comfort. Reception very friendly and welcoming. This was our second stay and we will return when we travel through Picton.

My first hostel stay in NZ, and first anywhere in a long time. It was a very friendly atmosphere. Host Nicki was very helpful with finding local amenities. Homemade breakfast bread and jam was nice. Just the smell of the bread in the morning was a wonderful way to wake up. -

the location is very close to ferry, 5min by walking, also close to city center, the staff are nice and friendly, the hostel is very cozy, like they said feeling at home. they have FREE wifi, breakfast, Icecream and bike rent, all are free, pretty cool, and one more, the cute dog-poppy.
