  I stayed in Hotel Nepalaya for 3 nights before joining tour at Thamel eco resort. My stay at Nepalaya was wonderful! From the moment I walked in to the reception area I found the staff very friendly and with a good sense of humour!(Milan- the manager I'm talking) I was taken to my room(204) and shown around. The young man(Ramesh Dulal) came and intro - Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. They were so friendly that after the first day, I could remember most of them by first name. They sent a taxi at the airport to pick me up even though I forgot to tell them my exact arrival time. Later I found out that theytook the trouble of analyzing where I m comming from and identifying the flight!!! I was completely amazed!!! The manager (Milan) was always there with helpful recomendations on bars, shopping etc. The guy at the reception desk named U

The room was clean, spacious and had a western bathroom with a tub. The A/C worked and the TV had CNN. The location was perfect. Many restaurants nearby. The hotel's restaurant was good. The breakfast was a hot buffet that offered different items each day. Good Wi-Fi. ATM in the next building. The staff organized a driver for us to view the sites. Also organized a shuttle to the airport. We would stay again.

  Friendly staff and good location! I stayed here for one night only. The staff Sujan and Genesh helps me a lot when I arrive. They are soooo friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is located in Thamel area which is a popular shopping area in Kathmandu. Lots of stores around here.
