  My boyfriend and I booked a two night stay here on a trek through Marrakech. Having never been to the city before we didn't know much about location, ammenities or prices. Fortunately this place is like a diamond in the rough!!! This hotel is located close to the city train hub and in the heart of the "new city". There are many restaurants, bars and shopping right arou - The room was as described and everthing worked as it should. We arrived late, around 10.30pm, and we're told by reception that the restaurants in the area would be closed. Well, we walked outside and on the corner was a very busy simple style fish restaurant. It was really different and threw us straight into the local scene. Great choice of fish at very reasonable prices!   Had an excellent time at hotel zahia. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Within 20 minutes walking distance of everything you'd want to see. - Nice apartment, good location & price. You will get more than you paid for. Large supermarket and restaurants are nearly.

The hotel although a modern building had lots of traditional mooriish style fitments...i.e. lovely wooden decorated ceilings,, carved doors and patterned tile floors. The glass of tea and a pastry on arrival was welcome, and car parking was easy. Clean, comfortable, and an excellent buffet breakfast by the pool, which sadly we didn't have time to try!

  The reception from the staff was the best thing and gave us a very good first impression .. the hotel is 30 minutes away walking from the old city .. my bedroom was clean and the bathroom was clean too - I had to catch a very early train, this hotel is really near it. And the staff is there 24 hours, so it's very convenient.
