  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  Great facilities, lovely pool, billiard and cinema, great outdoor area and above all wonderful host francoise and Michel, who were helpful and made it all very easy for us. We had travelled a substantial time through Morocco and wanted to splash - One of the best hotels on our 20 day trip in Morroco. I mostly enjoyed the creativiness (hope that word exists) of the design of the construction. I believed it was an abandoned Kasbah reconstructed. The room is very smart and cozy. Totally worth it.

  This is my second visit in six months and it did not disappoint. It's a wonderful haven of tranquillity . Rooms are spacious and decor very tastefully done .The staff are superb - most helpful and friendly and very smart in their crisp whites. I am from hotel background and am usuall - Practically perfect in every way - fantastic rooms (definitely worth getting a sea view to watch the sunset in the evenings), incredible food (there is no reason to go elsewhere to eat - so tasty), lovely staff, short walk to the beach, amazing spa, candles lit in your room and a chocolate left on your pillow every night, lovely pool and poolside service from the staff.
