  Lovely, lovely Riad. William and Khansa were very welcoming . Arrived in the evening so we were very pleased with being picked up at the airport and guided to the Riad through the crazy evening traffic! We were given a delicious meal in front of an open fire, much needed. The Riad is in a very good place, with easy directions to the Sqaure ( once ... cosa dice la gente » you've done it once ) takes about 10 mins. The gorgeous roof terrace is just what you need to rest after a morning in the Souks or square. Comfortable - A very pleasant place to stay in Marrakesh. Whilst in the middle of the busy Medina, it is totally quiet and relaxing which is great after a day of exploring the Medina, sightseeing and shopping in the nearby huge souk. We were received very well and Khansa took exceptionally well care of us, on a couple of occasions way above expectations! Breakfast was excellent and different each day. We also received good advice on restaurants, shopping and things to see.

The Ryad was in typically relaxed Morrocan style with beautiful features in the public area and courtyard facing bedrooms. A nice roof terrace too. Well located in the old Medina although the entrance route via the old dark souk streets might be a little intimidating for some, although the streets were busy and appeared safe.

We got back to the riad from shopping and dining around midnight and we wanted mint tea sooo bad that we asked the person at the front desk if we could have some and he made some tea for us.
