This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

It has a lovely terrace overlooking the main square and it was simply delightful to have our meals there!! Also the Riad Le Rubis is so convenient for shopping and sightseeing as it is situated in the centre of ever... cosa dice la gente » ything !! we highly recommend it to evrybody !! - The riad’s location is perfect, in a quiet area just 2 minutes walk from Jemma el Fna square and the souks and has a rooftop terrace overlooking the square. It is homely and comfortable and they provide an excellent breakfast (included) and fabulous lunch and dinner at a reasonable price. In addition their Hammam is not to be missed .

It is brilliantly situated just off Marrakech's souks in the centre of the Medina and amazingly peaceful considering its central, bustling location.   We came to the riad through the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with the host Julien leading the way. As we entered Riad Bibtia, the tranquility and atmosphere of the building really struck us. The hospitality from all the staff throughout our six day stay was faultless. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the riad's atrium and ate splendidly - The family really takes care of their gests! Both so that you feel very welcome to their riad and to help you to plan/do nice things during your stay. When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks! PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448.

Covered courtyards, yet able to be opened. Hammam and spa great. Comfortable king beds. Location great for shopping in souks and not far from main square.

Cooking class was a great experience and worth the visit to the market for produce with the local chef.
