This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.
Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. As with the previous review, we were driven to the bus station on our final day and the owner helped to purchase tickets and negotiate the cost for ba

We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said
that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a
beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak
English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the
mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well-

The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by
private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of
the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the
parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar.
The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Good breakfast on gorgeous roofdeck. A lot of care has gone into decorating the rooms. A word of caution on getting there - it is right in the medina, requires about a 5-7 minute walk from where a car can leave you up many many stairs with your luggage. -

A lovely hotel located at the back of the town, up against the mountainside. We really enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and very helpful, getting us a guide who took us to see local traditional crafts (ahem), showing us good places to eat and drink (there are only 3 places in Chaouen that serve alcohol) and helping us to use the local hamam safely. Casa Hassan is outstanding, clean, friendly people and very artistic. I have stayed there on many occasions while living in Spain and would highly recommend it. Food is good in their downstairs restaurant and the entire riad is representing the artisanal of morocco. There is fire places in the bedrooms in the older hotel with heating! -
