  Daichan house is a small guest house of a little family. They are so kind and helpfull. Daichan helped us a lot during our stay at Yakushima. He helped us to know every detail about how to go to each place we wanted to visit and he helped us too to reach most of the places.   Very close to Miyanouro port and a supermarket just across the street. Ideal if you plan to rent a car, if not there are probably more scenic locations elsewhere on the island. Very clean, almost seemed newly built. Nice breakfast with local specialities. Great access to local buses; bus stop was literally 5 steps away. Staff very friendly and helpful if not very English- savvy. Room was impeccably clean.   Anbo is a great location to take a bus for exploring the island. The guesthouse was very clean, airco, small tv. The owner helped me a lot with rebooking my Toppy Ferry ticket (got cancelled due to bad weather).
