Our 2 nights-stay in the hotel was amazing. Our room was upgraded to a suite close to Gion Hatanaka. The suite was large, quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed the kaiseki dinner as well as Geisha show. It was marvellous. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. They could communicate in English. I wish I could stay longer.

Where does one start with Yuzuya? I stayed for two glorious nights and the place is amazing. Worth every penny: the room is beautiful, with antiques and everything just so. The highlight is the food! I had two dinners and both were some of the best food I have ever eaten. Exquisitely presented on Kyoto pottery, each dish was a work of art. Breakfast was also amazing. Its a very comfortable, accommodating hotel. Bedroom, US living room, Japnese living room. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Good location as its near transportation, temples, shops, restaurants. It seems overcrowded at night but the rooms are quiet. -

1) Breakfast - European buffet was to die for!! they cook ham in front of your eyes, excellent choice of fruit, muesli, sausages, fish.
2) Spacious room.
3) Staff speaks good English and very helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage for free for 3 days even when we left for Tokyo and then didn't come back to Hyatt again.
4) Locality is really convenient for both sightseeing (next to Kyoto Museum and various temples) and logistics point (5 min from train/shinkansen station)

Karasuma,indeed,it´s as most people say. Very comfortable and super

Everything was good. Comfortable bed, very nice onsen with indoor and
outdoor bath, sauna. Very clean. Breakfast is well worth the money, open
buffet style with plenty of choices (mainly japanese dishes). They have

Service staff was very good and pleasant. They have special commodities to keep your luggage before after check in/out (brought the luggage at our room after early check in and while we were out).

The Staff were exceedingly good showing genuine attentive detail. There were several good to excellent English speakers at the hotel. Great sleep in a double bed. Very good Free Wi Fi throughout the hotelNice restaurant and reception area and garden. great place in a traditional style (we took Japanese room). Though not on the budget side of price and breakfast is not included in the rate, it is worth every penny paid. Very kind and knowledgeable staff ready to help with any request, additional events organized every week such as caligraphy in house course, sake tasting and others.

Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, elegant and comfortable. Unlike most of the hotels we've visited in Japan, it is rather spacious and with a touch for detail.
