  The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Antonino greeted us and guided us to the apartment's garage. He even gave us a lovely welcome gift of some local handmade pottery. The location is absolutely perfect -- right in the heart of Taormina -- so we could walk to all the sights very easily. Comfortable bed, kitchen facilities and washing machine. The owner was very accommodating in helping us find the B & B ( drove his car to our parking spot & we followed him) and providing us with information about the city & how to get to Mt.

  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  This is a lovely place with lots of space for walking around. Our apartment had everything we needed and we were happy to be able to cook our own dinners. The breakfast was very good.   A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.

L'accoglienza alla reception, la location molto suggestiva, da sentirsi immersi in un presepe vivente, la cura con la quale si avverte che il proprietario tiene molto all'ospitalità, e , non ultimo, la cu... cosa dice la gente » ra dei dettagli nella ristrutturazione recentissima. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata l'inaspettata bottiglia di vino bianco offertaci come benvenuto - Abbiamo soggiornato nella dimora denominata '' Grecale", un grazioso appartamemto su 2 livelli finemente ristrutturato e arredato con cura. Tutti gli appartamenti sono ubicati in una zona molto tranquilla e vicinissima al centro. Scicli e' una città fantastica e da vivere per almeno un paio di giorni. Non ci aspettavamo fosse così viva di sera con chiese e musei aperti sino alle 24. Le dimore dei venti sono la location ideale per vivere appieno l atmosfera sciclitana.
