This was a great place to stay in Rome! The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a nice size bathroom. We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere.

I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The
Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet
room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we
didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to
everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover
and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

Ottima posizione a Trastevere. La via in cui si trova è davvero tranquilla. A pochi passi da Piazza Trilussa e Santa Maria in Trastevere. Cordialità e simpatia da parte di Valeria. -

The nuns were very welcoming. There were a couple nuns who spoke
English, and the ones who didn't speak English were happy to go get
one who did so we could get directions or recommendations on nearby
restaurants. Their recommendation for Scaletta restaurant was spot on,

We were fully satisfied with the appartment, as everythig is pretty much the same as in description and comments. Great location - Trastevere is probably the cosiest part of Rome for an evening walk and dinner. And it is also close to most of the major sightseeing points. The apartment itself is bright and well equipped, so you can really feel yourself at home. It is very comfortable for two people, and I suppose it would be not too crowded for 4 persons also. A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. One thing we really appreciated who travelled in December is also the heating and comfort of the place. I've been staying in many places in Italy where it's been cold inside in that time of the year. This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought).
