  The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but that is actually a good thing, since it is situated in very quiet surroundings. The room was spacious, with a good bed, a desk and two (small) chairs. The bathroom was well equipped.   We used this hotel for an overnight stay as a base for visiting Venice and it was perfect for that. The pool was a bonus if you could fit in the time to use it. We managed a quick half hour before it closed for the evening. We got in late at Marco Polo airport and we weren't entirely sure how to get there, but when we did he was standing outside of his hotel waiting for us and he called out my name when he saw to people with luggage. We were there for only two days so we never really had time to figure it out exac - Hotel is close to the airport Marco Polo. You can take a bus and will reach campalto in 10min. Venice can be reached by bus within 15 min from the Casa Gaia. The busstop is just infront of the Hotel. Make sure you buy a ticket in the tabaccheria next to the hotel. Besides if you are in Venice for a couple of days there are some nice offers for tickets, which you can use for buses and boats and which are valid for 2 or 3 days.
