The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car during the stay. Arriving at the Residenza, we realized how central the hotel really is - just 200 mete - A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .
