All sights are walkable from this central location. A tip for - We stayed at the Pantheon Royal Suite this past February. It was very clean, and a great hotel for a family of 4. They provided us with plenty of towels daily and the mini bar items were free!! We found the room very spacious and had a beautiful view of the Pantheon piazza down below. The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and took a cab only to the Vatican. Cabs are very convenient as they are always parked on the street of the piazza. As they say location is everything

  Decor - modern and appealing Breakfast was an added bonus, not normally expected in an apartment. Excellent location. - Rome is a great place to visit,we found the Romans friendly people but bad drivers(some insults were transmitted),having rented bikes made all the difference to visit the city,amazingly few people cycle around,the food is great ... cosa dice la gente » and the historical mambojambo is absolutely brilliant,staying in the middle of a city does mean you get woken by loud Italian men in the morning.....and they say women talk!!!....duh...   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.
