  When you go to a hotel like this, you pay first of all for the location. You should be prepared that any additional perks must be considered as an extra bonus. But this hotel has many. We got the junior suite, which was very spacious. The room was beautifully decorated: a parquet floor and artistic stucco on the walls.   Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... cosa dice la gente » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  The location of Dolce Vita is perfect! You are right near the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps! There are many restaurants, cafes and a supermarket nearby. Taxis and buses very close too. The hotel did a load of washing for me for only 5euro which was great! - Perfect for a family with young children. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for breakfast in our apartment. The apartment was very modern and updated but still charming. Staff was the highlight - super recommendations for tours and restaurants; very helpful - told us exactly the fare to pay for the taxi; extremely accommodating when we arrived at midnight after a late flight - we will definitely return!

This is a guest-house consisting of half a floor in an older building, not a hotel, so don't expect hotel services. The location can't be beat and the price is right.   Was our first time in Rome and Townhouse Spagna's location was perfect for sight seeing. We found it a perfect base to just stroll the streets and find all the various monuments at each corner. Townhouse Spagna is located near the Spanish Steps and is a trendy part of town where all the nice boutiques are. Great city living. Lots of options for eating on your doorstep too with a lot - Town House Spagna is conveniently located in an alley right by the Spanish Steps. As soon as I made a last minute booking for same day check in, they called me to make sure I was okay to find the place and provided directions. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which is always a nice surprise. Town House Spagna is a very cute boutique style hotel and has very pretty furnishings. We had a short stay but it was a pleasant one.
