We had a great stay in Ghiacciaie! Very kind staff, comfortable fresh looking room and facilities. Great feeling like staying in our own home! Our room had windows facing to the railways but finally it was no use worrying about: it was quiet at night. Location is great for travelers without car, 10 minutes walk from the railway station so you could easily reach most Florence attractions on foot.

The room was spacious, well designed and clean. The air-conditioning worked well and the wifi was fast.
There was a communal kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, and sink. Coffee and tea were free.
The owner was very nice and friendly. We could leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out.
The location was good as it's very close to the Florence SM train station. Even though the rooms are on the 1st floor, the owner helped us with the luggage so that's not a problem.

The friendliness and the fact that Massimiliano (manager) was so helpful and understanding (grazie!). Absolutely clean, good sized rooms and fantastically close to the historic center of Florence. All the hotels in Italy are a bit off with their prices. So really you are looking at something cosy, clean, quiet and friendly. And this is surely the place you are looking for. It is like having your own appartment in Florence!!!!

Stayed here for three nights in September 2013. The B&B is located 5 minutes (walking) from the main train station in Florence. It is on the ground floor of a beautiful, traditional style building. The room was big, the bathroom spacious, and both were kept immaculately clean during our stay.

This is an excellent accommodation on offer, particularly considering the moderate price. I must say that we liked everything in the hotel/hostel, the friendly staff, the clean and excellent facilities, and the convenient location. We enjoyed every minute stay there. we stayed 3nights in Florence and were really happy with our choice for accommodation.
The staff was really friendly,and even suggested and booked us a one-day to Siena/San Giminiano, that we really enjoyed! The room was big and with nice furniture,clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly ! Also there was also a kettle and some coffee/tea available.
Overall, would recommend.

It is the best hotel that i stayed in Italy. The price is very good considering the nice, large and comfortable room. It is very clean and bathroom has a heating racks that can make laundry try quickly, which is very convenient. It provided breakfast in the room and was very good. Staff is helpful with information.

The location is super convenient. Its just 900m walk from the main station. It's a typical bed and breakfast with 3-4 rooms. But its nice and clean. Our host was really welcoming and offered help with providing maps etc. Breakfast was small, but unlimited coffee and cake. While checkout, we needed to keep our luggage for a while and the host arranged for it by giving us a spare key of the main door.
