  THe close location to the Duomo and the rest of Florence. Hearing the bells ring everyday. THe staff was so very friendly and helpful. The room was very simple but clean. The breakfast was adequate. Wish it had boiled eggs. We visited with our 8 and 5 year olds and they loved the carousel, pastry shops, and activity on the Plaza, which is right outside of the door. The Duomo is just a skip away. The apartment was spacious for 2 people (my 11 yr old granddaughter and me). Having to go first to Hotel Lanzi did not present a problem for us and I particularly liked the fact that, having paid for the flat when we first arrived, we were not required to return to the hotel at check out - we were told to just leave the key device on the kitchen table.
