  The Hotel is situatet only 8 km from the City of Napoli and a short ride to Visuvio. A very nice and quiet hotel in the former summer recidence of the King of Napoli. Short walk to Portici with nice shoping facilities and with the best Icecreme in the world. Short walk to "solarium" Bayard Beach Club where it is possible to rent a sunbeds and use ... cosa dice la gente » the club facilities such as showers, bar and enjoy the DJ music from 8 am and into the night. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, and the staff is v - Although our room was in the annexe fronting an internal garden area and not in the main hotel building it was still quite comfortable. Security provided at entrance to the hotel property made us feel safe and being able to park our car off-street in the courtyard gave us peace of mind. Breakfast was good and location within walking distance of Herculaneum (arguably just as good as Pompeii) excellent.

  The superior room was superior in size, cleanliness and number of bed cushions..! And above all it was very well lit..! View on Vesuvio park was not the best.The guys who serve (good) coffee at breakfast are true hosts! Friendly, quick and very customer orientated. Romolo deserves promotion! Good spot for travellers by car who are central to most sights in the area. Perfect - Wonderful views of the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Friendly , helpful staff and efficient receptionists. Evening meals were creative, well presented and reasonably priced.
