We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere to relax around the Lake and did not want to be among a throng of people. Apart from when the main road was closed due to an accident we got that. It was very peaceful.

Antonia and Samuel are great hosts. They will do everything to make your stay perfect. Very helpful on how to get around and what to see. Their restaurant serve great food for breakfast and dinner. Our room was very nice and clean and had a lakeview. It was great. The conveniences (ferry, bus) were just outside the door. Antonia and Samuel have a sign at the reception that says something like "you arrive a customer, but you leave as a friend" I would definitely go back without a doubt.

We loved everything about Hotel Vapore! The room itself was simple and clean, with a perfect 180 degree view of the lake. We ate dinner at the lakeside hotel restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and the food was delicious. The town Torno is quaint and does not feel touristy like some other areas of the Lake Como region, and easily accessible by ferry and bus. We would definitely visit again.

The staff was really nice and helped us navigate the confusing bus and
ferry schedules. Luckily, there is a bus stop not too far down the road
from the hotel. The view of the lake from our room was pretty
spectacular and breakfast was delicious.

Lovely historical Albergo overlooking Lake Como. Antique furniture throughout and lots of period features make you feel like stepping back in time, very romantic! The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful and even let us keep our car in her private garage overnight due to it being fully loaded with holiday luggage and 2 bikes on the roof! Break
