  We were greeted by the owners father on arrival, who filled us in on all the necessary information of the local village Hillsborough and how to get to Belfast. We then met David the owner, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully furnished and there is a real home atmosphere, like your one of the family. At the B&B we were made very welcome, our room was ready and waiting for us. Food was v good.   My stay at the Slieve Donard Hotel was in all a pleasure. The food was fantastic as was the service. The way the swimming pool has been set up couldnt be better with the view over looking the ocean.   Bedroom facilities. Ensuite very clean. Beds comfy, good airing (been in hotels where couldn't open window so it was lovely to be able to do so).Wifi. Breakfast menu was good but..... - We had a few issues with our room but was up-graded the next day and it was excellent. We were met with a friendly welcome smile from all the staff in all areas.
