  The hotel and its staff were really good. The hotel was close to a bus stop which made it easy to get to town. The lady on the desk was very accommodating and tried to meet all of our needs. Although we checked out a night early they gave us a refund as the internet did not work.

  I found Egans to be the best possible combination of a 'chain' hotel and a private guest house. It was comfortable - especially the communal lounge area - clean, and nicely decorated, with very helpful staff. My room had everything I needed and was very good value for my 30 euros. I'll be back. - We rented a room for 5 people. It was a full size bed, and 3 twin beds crammed together in a very small room. We only stayed one night here, so being crammed together one night was no big deal. We had our own bathroom plus there was a public bathroom right outside of our door. The lady at the desk was very helpful and informative. She told us of our various options of getting into the city, which is a good distance away.

  Our double bedroom was very clean and comfortable. A water heater, some cups and a selection of teas are included. Everything is fairly new. If your stay is focused on visits to the city, the rooms are absolutely fine. Martin is a fantastic, very caring host and prepares a nice Irish breakfast. Abbington house lies in a quiet street in nor - Martin was very friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond expectations. After booking a day tour, we realized our bags would need to be left at the B&B after checkout. Martin offered to keep them into the evening and even offered the room until our flight time. He cooked a wonderful breakfast each day and made excellent dining and attraction advice. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

  The host, Bernadette was a delight. She was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. When I became ill, Bernadette allowed an extra late check-out which was much appreciated. Her B&B is lovely. It is spacious and comfortable and quiet and decorated in a cosy style. We had a back room overlooking a garden so was extra quiet..   Bernadette and Padraigh are the best hosts in the Dublin area. We considered that the location (halfway between the airport and downtown - 10 minute trip) was perfect. The Dublin buses (and the Dublin bus pass) were a great way to see the city. If you don't want to pay the high downtown hotel prices you should consider this B and - This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.
