Cosa dice la gente
Our double bedroom was very clean and comfortable. A water heater,
some cups and a selection of teas are included. Everything is fairly
new. If your stay is focused on visits to the city, the rooms are
absolutely fine.
Martin is a fantastic, very caring host and prepares a nice Irish breakfast. The buffet offers cereals, yoghurt and orange juice as well. Plenty of information about Dublin is available and Martin is happy to help you plan your visit.

Martin was very friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond
expectations. After booking a day tour, we realized our bags would need
to be left at the B&B after checkout. Martin offered to keep them
into the evening and even offered the room until our flight time. He
cooked a wonderful breakfast each day and made excellent dining and
attraction advice. We would stay again in a heartbeat!.
The room we were in was pretty spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and the street was quiet. The place looked like it had been recently decorated. The owner Martin was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was decent; a fry, though a bit basic if your not a fry lover.
Very friendly host, Martin. Great rooms, clean and fresh decor. Feels recently refurbished. Easy to catch train or bus to city centre.
Cleaner let us In as we arrived early afternoon from ferry. Very friendly also. Love the free parking ticket, that let us park at the front door.
Very clean and comfortable. The room we were in was very small but the bed was perfect and the location was outstanding! Never met the owner Martin but met his lovely wife. If you are going for a short stay or long we highly recommend Abbington House B&B! Loved it!!.
Great place just a short bus ride outside of town; a block or so from the bus stop.
We had to leave early our last day, so didn't have time for breakfast; the proprietor reduced our bill so we could get breakfast at the airport. Much appreciated!.
We very much enjoyed our stay, the facilities were clean and well kept, the location is near city center, with great bus and taxi access. Martin and Audrey were great--took great care of us and were very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
The owner could not do enough for us location was excellent breakfast was so fresh room was spotless could not believe how cheap it was will never stay any where else in dublin again except here 5 star place.
So friendly and so nice! I was very pleased with everything can´t say anything bad at all. 2 minutes walk to get a bus into Dublin centre, could also walk but I prefered the bus.
Clean & comfortable. Very nice location, near to Croke Park and convenient bus access to city centre. Also right next to Drumcondra dart station. Very friendly owner.
Cheerful owner. Great localization right next to Drumcondra dart and bus
stop, in a quiet side-street. Very clean. Tasty and filling full Irish
breakfast.
Friendly host. Did not charge me for the night due to my error on the date of arrival. Give us a ride to downtown after checking out.
The family who own/run Abbingdon House could not have been more
friendly and helpful and the premises were spotless.
Our double room was very clean and very comfortable. The shower was great. Breakfast was fine. Helpful staff.
Martyn! Everyone needs a Martyn in their lifes! he was friendly, helpful, well recommended to everyone!.

Martin was very helpful and even drove me to town once!

Clean rooms
Confortable rooms.
Room very clean, breakfast good.
It was handy for our early departure from the docks. It was clean.
friendly staff.
The house architecture doesn't allow spacious rooms, so the bedroom
as well as the bathroom are rather small. Unfortunately there's not
much pressure on the shower, so plan a few extra minutes in the morning.
No complaints whatsoever.
No real complaints, maybe slightly over prices but we didn't get the best rate as booked quite late and depends whats on in the city too...
Tough to check in. Martin (the owner)was away from the house so we waited outside for about 45 mins to be let in.
It's right next to the Drumconda Commuter Train Station; the occasional train passing didn't bother us, but it's something to be aware of if you're a really light sleeper. Otherwise very quiet.
letsbookhotel.com said check in was from 11:00. I arrived at 13:30, there was no answer at the door, tried several of the numbers written on the door before someone answered, was told check in wasn't until 2pm.
Was ushered immediately into a room upon check in with none of my details taken & not even asked my name or if I had a booking, which was a bit disconcerting!.
The bathroom was a bit small, but fine otherwise. A bedside locker would definitely be handy.
Abcense of a salon
Rather small tv.
Nothing to dislike.
20 min walk into centre but plenty of busses available.
A bit pricy given location but ok.
Room and bathroom far too small. Location poor and offputting. Owner not there when we arrived despite telephoning time of arrival in advance.
We couldn't get in, had to wait for a man on a bike to let us in. We
never managed to see the owner and only got to pay when his very nice
wife phoned him then took the card details. We shouldn't have to
phone, text and waste time trying to get hold of someone to pay. Our
room was very tiny.
very small rooms.
