We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. The location is excellent as you can watch the dramatic sunset and has a
very good view of the Caldera. The design of the hotel is very Grecian
so if you want to experience or feel like an ancient Greek, this is the

We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. Although they had power cuts on the island of Santorini the week we
stayed in August this was obviously not the hotels fault and the staff
could not have been more helpful and the hotel is located in one of the
most beautiful positions on the island I could not rate the experience
higher and I would definitely recommend the Kapari to other guests. Also
the food was excellent.

This was the best place we stayed in on our trip of Greece... it is run by a lovely lady called Pipitsa and her assistant, Yordana. We had a most wonderful time at Zoe's Houses. Zak is an incredible host! Santorini is a beautiful place and staying at Zoe's Houses made it even more special. Zak was involved from the beginning of our journey when we got off our airport transfer (arranged by him) up to the end when we had to leave early in the morning. Zak takes very good care of the people renting his place. He sees to it that all their needs are met. We'd love to go back to Santorini and we'll definitely go back to Zoe
