I stayed very shortly but felt like I was staying at my own beach house. It is situated on a beautiful sandy beach. The staff is very nice and friendly. We stayed in a standard room. The bathroom is old and should be renewed. It has a very big terrace and we enjoyed sitting there. I wish they offered breakfast as well. But there is a hotel next to

Fabulous location on the sea front. We just took the double room with extra bed for the little one and room was clean (and cleaned regularly with fresh towels when we needed them) Staff were very friendly - and drinks service on the beach was excellent! (not to mention free sunbeds and parasols - and always some free) Safe beach for kids. It's not a big resort so nice and friendly but still plenty of restaurants to choose from just 5 mins drive down road.

Value for money and a perfect location for beach bars and restaurants near the boardwalk.
Themi the owner and his wife took very good care of us, and do visit their beachrestaurant Madness where u also have access to their sunbeds.
All in all we very much recomend this place.

Excellent position on the harbour. The breakfast and the dinner on the beach were amazing. I'd recommend Avra Hotel to everyone who wants relax and to enjoy beautiful beaches, especially to people who leave for romantc journey. I also recommend to have dinner at the restaurant just at the corner with the hotel. You'll taste delicious food.

And FREE FRUITS every day!

This is a very beautiful and pleasant family-owned hotel. The garden and the surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing. The owners greeted us like their own children. We had some home-made Cornelian cherry liqueur, fresh eggs from hens up on the slopes of Mt. Olympus, home-mad jam. In short - we felt like being at our grandparents' house. Everything and really everything was very good. We were there to visit Mount Atos; Hiljandar. The rooms and the whole hotel was very clean. It has the european standard. The rooms are big enough and from the rooms the view on the sea is great!

My friends and I really liked our stay at Filoxenia. The hotel is really close to Ouranoupoli. It is located a bit on the hill, so from the main porch you can have a wonderful view while you have breakfast in the morning or just relax after a long day. Rooms are very clean, comfortable for a stay of a few days and all around a nice green yard. Parking is also not an issue. Efi, the nice woman in charge, is also very nice, helpful and caring of her guests.
