I liked the friendliness of staff, family atmosphere (e.g. breakfast/living room), small size of the hotel, the art work on walls, the closeness to the Acropolis and Ancient Agora, and the fact that it was in a residential neighbourhood, as well as close to shops, and the Metro, and that it had a balcony. -

Hospitality and attention of staff, especially manager, was exceptional. To the smallest details they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible and to provide us all required information. Vagia hotel exceeded our expectations in all categories. To begin, the

Yianni & Dimitris are the best hosts you could ever wish to meet .We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble .
The quality ( and quantity ) of Dimitris food would be difficult to beat anywhere and with the great food and relaxed atmosphere dining was always a pleasure.
Our apartment was terrific with large balcony and one of the most beautiful views we have ever had anywhere in the world.

The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The
location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places
and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi
was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a
good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it
was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn
it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom
for getting

Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma
Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from
the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked
about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask
hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful.
We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at
the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a
